A laminate made from stone blocks

Veneer with a thickness ranging from 0.8 to 2.0 mm can be obtained from blocks of natural stone by using an innovative laser technology. The veneer is held together and reinforced with fibreglass and polyester resin and then is glued on a carrier material, chosen according to the needs of the place of application. Suitable materials on which the laminate can be fixed by gluing are woody and light building materials, fiber cement or plasterboard. Each sheet is made unique for its rough surface and the continuous change of the colors of the individual layers. Furthermore, its easy processing makes it suitable for a myriad of applications in the industries of furniture, interior construction and design.
