Projects
DUPLEX OR SIMPLEX for a house in the province of Naples.
The owners asked to complete the project of a house, of which already exists the mezzanine floor, through the addition of two floors to create other two apartments, almost equivalent in terms of the extension.
So, staying in the permitted volumes, we drew up the project.
We designed two possible solutions:
The 1st one includes an apartment for every floor of about 75 mq:
At the first floor, the apartment includes: an entrance hall, a kitchen, a living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry and a large terrace, on which overlooks the living room of the house. The position of the terrace, in fact, influenced the distributive solution, that is disadvantage in terms of sun exposure, but can use the large terrace, right at the living room.
-On the second floor, the apartment, although having the same composition of the other, enjoy a better sun exposure.
The 2nd solution is the insertion of two aggregated in row duplex; the apartments on 2 levels are more or less equivalent and consist of:
-At the first level, the living area (entrance hall, open staircase, kitchen and bathroom).
-At the second level side, there is the sleeping area, consisting of three bedrooms, one toilet and the laundry.
For this solution, we can do the same considerations of the previous case, about exposure and distribution.
