On behalf of the Development Agency of Nola area, in assistance to the City of Marigliano was developed the study about morphological and functional layout of a center for the development of the floriculture field, named "Flora ". The project, promoted by the City of Marigliano, in accordance with the Campania Region planning, includes the use of a significant part of the development area for productive activities (Plan PIP), already in progress. The project involves the construction of an infrastructure for the wholesale market and the logistic for the sale of floriculture products, dedicated to the operators of the Campania Region and the Center-South. Next to the logistic platform and to the services related with that,  same additional and support functions like, exhibition and shopping halls for equipment, sites for experimental cultivation and areas for farmers in this sector, were also provided, employing a wide strip of land, that is encumbered by a bond of protection of an auction of the Royal Canal Lagni. The functional framework is completed by the realization of same office buildings, the necessary hotel and catering services, as well as a conference center to serve the whole area for productive development.
