The Local Health Company issues invitation to tender for the design of the requalify and expansion of the hospital in Montecchio Maggiore that will carry the functions of the hospital of Arzignano out. The project of the new works should not exceed the cost of EUR 40 million, with a gross area of 35.000 m² for 254 beds and more outpatients, diagnostic laboratories and medical offices. The proposal, in the alternative hypothesis of the administration, involves the construction of a new construction body to completion of the urbanization of the area. The project reduces, by two Cartesian straight lines, halls of the hospital with the urban fabric, while the two buildings are connected through the floors.
