Environmental rehabilitation of a farmhouse along the Neapolitan coast

Environmental rehabilitation of a farmhouse along the Neapolitan coast

Building

We are asked to verify the feasibility and design enhancement of an "urban farm" and the agricultural area of relevance, located along the coast of Naples, in the heart of the dense fabric of urbanized Torre del Greco. The complex, of great scenic, extended over an area of about six hectares with a coastal front of further 2.6 hectares, has in its interior the remains of a "Villa Romana" reported partially to light. Archaeological studies indicate the presence of other remains, almost certainly extended to the marina facing the current shoreline. The study and the subsequent design checks have identified the opportunity to realize a promotion for tourism and resort accommodations through the restoration / recovery of existing buildings, for the construction of a hotel relais for the care of the person with about 20 resident guests + 20 non-residents , with the recovery of the agricultural floriculture, the enhancement of the archaeological resource and the redevelopment of the shoreline for heliotherapeutic and bathing uses. From an energy standpoint, the complex is designed self-sufficient, using entirely self-produced energy by solar greenhouses and geothermal energy, and energy deriving from the movement of the tides.
